Instruction Manuals
To assist new hams in obtaining their Technician license, or for existing hams to upgrade, we have developed a set of instruction manuals for use with the local training classes. Notice: for some reason, it usually works better if you save the manual to your hard disk first rather than trying to open it in your browser. For Windows users, right click on the desired manual with your mouse. You should get a pop-up menu where one of the options will be to save the "target" to your hard drive. Use that option.
Every effort is made to have these manuals as technically correct and clear as possible. Please contact me if you find any problems or errors.
- Technician Q&A -- (2006 question pool) [1.7 MB/15 November 2007]
- General Question Pool (2007 question pool) [1.7 MB/December 2007]
- A "professional version" of the The 2002 Extra Manuals are now offered by ARRL
- Draft 2008 Extra Question Pool [1.1 MB/January 2008]
