Dr. Phillip DeLeon
Associate Director and Professor

Phillip L. De Leon received the B.S. Electrical
Engineering and B.A. Mathematics from the University of Texas
at Austin in 1989 and 1990, respectively.
In 1990, he was awarded the AT&T Bell Laboratories
Cooperative Research Fellowship for doctoral studies. He received
the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the
University of Colorado at Boulder in 1992 and 1995, respectively.
Dr. De Leon has been employed at several research
organizations including Lucent technoliogies Bell Laboratories
(formerly AT&T BL). He is currently an Associate Professor
at New Mexico State University in the Klipsch School of Electrical
and Computer Engineering.
Since January 2000, he has also served as Associate
Director for the Center for Space Telemetering and Telecommunications.
His research interest within Digital Signal Processing include
adaptive signal processing, embedded systems, multirate signal
processing and speech processing. |
