Deva K. Borah received the B.E. and M.E.
degrees in electronics and communication's engineering from the
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 1987 and 1992
respectively. Dr.Borah obtained his Ph.D. degree in telecommunications
engineering from the Australian National University, Canberra,
Australia, in May 2000.
Since December 1999 he has been working as an Assistant
Professor at the Klipsch School of Electrical and Computer Engineering
at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces New Mexico.
Dr. Borah has published more than twenty papers in
IEEE journals and conference proceedings, and has more than six
years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate
levels. He serves as a regular reviewer for several IEEE journals.
Dr. Borah's research interests include detection and
estimation in time-varying fading channels, CDMA multiuser detection,
adaptive algorithms, bandwidth efficient modulation/coding, and
wireless networks. |
